Fine on paper . . . and maybe reality

God was dead . . .

or at least it looked that way for a few days.

But He did not die, and He is risen! The price for our sins has been paid. That makes all the difference in the world. We can accept the grace that comes from the Cross and have eternal life.

The tough parts of that are first, accepting that we are not “good people” and actually need grace and forgiveness, and secondly, living our lives from conversion onwards as lives of grace and holiness. We not only have to do the right thing but accept that without grace we would do the wrong thing far more often.

Human nature means that the moment of conversion has be to about once a day if not oftener.

The Passion and Cross were the first two parts of a three-part process. The Resurrection is the triumph of truth, life and love over sin and death.
Happy Easter!
